Ya’ll are invited to our Country Western Shindig planned for September 26 at the BWEHA Clubhouse.

There will be dancing, games, prizes and rumor has it that a dance “sheriff” will be there to arrest varmints and sidewinders and put them in our special “jail.”

Tickets are a low, low $6 for members and $7 for guests.  They are on sale at the Clubhouse or you can call Chairman Jane Gradl at 861-1666.

The Social Committee needs your support, so please invite your friends and call for reservations now.

More information will come in future Beacon Newsletters.

Water Aerobics Classes - Mon. & Fri. mornings

Water aerobics classes for Beacon Woods East members, neighbors and friends start at 9:00 AM at the Clubhouse swimming pool.  Classes are on Mondays and Fridays and will run until the fall.

We encourage BWEHA members to bring friends and neighbors, whether members or not.  This is a great opportunity for gentle exercise, healthy fun and making new friends.

The cost per class is $4 for members and $5 for non-members.

Joan Florio, a member of the American Exercise Association and a Certified Water Aerobics Instructor, leads the classes.  Joan can be reached at 847-9649 if you have questions. Or, you may call JoAnn Laney at 868-9074 for details.

Plan on improving your stamina this summer by joining us poolside.  You’ll be glad you did!

Crafts Group Introduces Mexican Train Dominoes®

Members of the BWEHA crafts group meet every Thursday morning at 9:30 in the Clubhouse.  Recently they added the “Mexican Train” game, a variation of Dominoes®, during their craft sessions.  The game is quite enjoyable and has gone over very well.  If you like doing crafts and having fun, join us on Thursday mornings!
