 President's Message

Florida has experienced one of its worst winters in the last twenty years.  Let’s hope Mother Nature gives us a break and some warmer weather in March.

Those members interested in running for our Board of Directors should have their resumes and applications in by March 5.  We are always looking for new faces and new ideas to help us keep a vibrant community.

Our Treasurer, Barbara Fredricksen, has been working diligently with Rosanne and Carol in the association office to monitor the foreclosures in our community.  She is also watching our 2010 budget closely to make sure we stay on track.  There are still a number of homeowners who have not paid their dues for the first quarter.  We rely on association dues to keep us up and running, so please remember that dues are payable again on April 1.

Our swimming pool will remain closed during March for resurfacing and upgrading.  Thanks for your patience and understanding while this work is going on.

There are county regulations and our own association deed restrictions about keeping pets on a leash and cleaning up after them.  Some members have been lax in picking up after pets while walking them, so we ask them to please follow the rules and have consideration for their neighbors.

I am very grateful to the other Board members who have worked with me during the past year.  I want to publicly thank them for their help and support.

  Till next month, stay warm!

Pat Coffey, President
